My work with clients is trauma-informed, systemic, relational, and dynamic.

Therapy is Collaborative

The therapist and the client both have roles and responsibilities in a therapeutic relationship. As the therapist, I show up authentically and ethically. I work to provide enough safety and empathy to support a client’s bravery and vulnerability. I utilize a mix of evidence-based interventions which can include; talk, play, and art therapies; dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and mindfulness; psychodynamic processing; and relationship-building. Treatment plans and interventions are tailored to each client’s unique personality and circumstances. My style is warm, curious, caring, and honest. In our work together you can expect a skillful mix of emotional holding and soothing, with growth-minded challenges and feedback.

My Practice & Specializations

My practice is dedicated to creating a safe and affirming therapeutic space for adults, couples, and polycules, with a specialized focus on clients who identify as LGBTQ2S+, trans/non-binary, and/or neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Highly Sensitive Person).

I specialize in trauma therapy, particularly supporting individuals with Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), those who experience intense emotional responses ("big feelings", “meltdowns”, “blow ups”), and those who are described as "too much", “too sensitive” or “dramatic” I help clients navigate the impacts of trauma, dissociation, and the exhausting weight of perfectionism.

Rooted in my own identity as a white, queer clinician from a working-class background, I provide culturally-aware and humble care, serving as a collaborator on my clients' journeys. I also offer specialized support for parents navigating their child's mental health diagnosis, helping to break cycles and foster secure family connections.

My Therapeutic Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process where the client is the expert of their own life. My role is to provide a sanctuary—a safe, empathetic relationship where we can untangle struggles together. The work focuses on client autonomy and their goals, which often include helping them to:

  • Reclaim a sense of safety in their body and mind while processing past trauma.

  • Develop practical tools to navigate big feelings, perfectionism, and dissociation with more ease.

  • Strengthen their self-trust and cultivate a more compassionate, authentic relationship with themselves.

  • Build chosen skills to improve their relationships with others.

This process is designed to be empowering, helping clients move from struggle toward a life defined by their values and strengths.
